About Galifa
Individual. Precise. From Switzerland.
No two eyes are the same – and that is precisely why Galifa exists. Our contact lenses are precisely tailored solutions for individual requirements. We do not aim for average solutions, but for genuine answers – professionally, visually and personally.
Custom-made since 1980
Since 1980, we have been developing and manufacturing rigid and soft contact lenses in St. Gallen for a wide range of visual requirements: from myopia management and presbyopia to keratoconus and digital eye strain. Our speciality: customised solutions where standard lenses reach their limits.
Galifa is specifically dedicated to opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists. Our products, services and training programmes are practical, collaborative and personal. Our specialist partners come from Switzerland, Germany and Austria – we understand regional requirements and work together as equal partners.
100% Swiss. 100% reliability.
Galifa stands for quality, precision and reliability – values that are deeply rooted in Swiss corporate culture. We manufacture 100% in Switzerland – ensuring the highest standards, short supply chains and genuine partnerships.
Behind Galifa is a strong team of around 40 dedicated employees. Diversity matters to us – as does the determination to achieve more together. Our team culture is shaped by openness, quality and a genuine passion for what we do.
Network
Strongly connected – always at the forefront
Since 2025, Galifa has been part of the Medical Vision Group – together with companies such as Mediconsult. This connection strengthens our network, creates new synergies and enables integrated care at the highest level.
Through close collaboration with specialised partners across the entire ophthalmic care pathway, we create solutions that go far beyond individual products. Research, development, diagnostics and clinical application work seamlessly together.
For opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists, this means access to a strong network, innovative technologies and practical support – with the shared goal of continuously advancing visual care.
